I’ve tried every method suggested on other posts about how to delete a row (or rows) in Glide data. It’s ridiculous! I’m about ready to ditch my database and start over so I don’t have extra rows. AAAAARGH!
If I select a row (via the checkbox) and hit my Del key, it opens my OS filemanager.
If I select a row and hit my Backspace button, it returns to the Glide Layout.
There’s a shortcut key for ADDING a row. What is the shortcut key for DELETING a row?
The delete key should be it. Might be a stuck key or weird keyboard mapping on your device. What OS? Which browser? If I have a stuck key on Windows, I usually tap the SHIFT, CTRL, and ALT keys a few times, and that usually releases the sticky key.
Worst case, just try restarting your computer.
yes that should be it - or something is wrong with the keyboard
Part of my problem may be running Linux causing different issues.
Also, I have an AORUS keyboard, if that causes the quirks.
I did find a workaround, if I format my component as a table, I can give users the option of deleting rows. Simple enough.
