Would replacing the traditional components with custom AI components reduce the speed of the app?

They still take a bit of time to load at the start so at least at the moment, I wouldn’t suggest going in that direction of replacing everything. Only use those when you want to do something that the native components can not do, or can not offer something that’s close.
It’s still in beta after all. Speaking this after some of my components work in the builder but not the production app.
