Create New Glide Table by Importing from Google Sheet

Dear Community,

We are upgrading one of our app from Classic.

When trying to change one of the Google Sheet Tab into a Glide table, we are facing huge issues.

One of the table PoolDB has 1600 over rows. We have copied this sheet to a stand alone Google Sheet with only 1 tab, and try to import to a Glide Table

The imported data has only less than 1/3 of the actual dat i.e 490 out of 1600 row.s

This is the actual rows number:

Kindly advise if there’s a better and more effective way to perform the data import seamlessly?

Try exporting your Google Sheet table in CSV and doing the import from the CSV options instead.

Let me know how this goes !

DId that as well. Couldn’t work. Same outcome.

Depending on how many columns you have, I’ve had a lot of success with copy/paste in Glide. Just make sure your column structure is the same.

That’s not the recommended way to go, but it gets the job done. I’m not sure how you are not getting 100% of your rows. I’ve never seen that.

I’ve seen this multiple times and have an open support ticket about it. Copy/paste is an interesting alternative. I’ve seen so much flakiness around export import I’m willing to try anything!
