Hi, i would like to ask doesnt the chat component used up a table and consumed rows ?
wouldnt it be such a waste if users keeps on chatting there and used up lots of rows usage.
It does. It’s one of the reasons I don’t use the comments and chats components that often. Especially chat. I only do so if I know there won’t be much activity. And then might one wonder “Then what’s the point in having the comments/chat component in the first place?” Well exactly, that’s why I avoid using it.
With the current pricing structure and counting of rows (edit: and updates), the row/update limits will be eaten up quickly: comments and chats are more valuable when more people and more comments/chats are added.
You could purge comments and chats on a regular basis, but to me that defeats the purpose of having comments and chats in the first place.

Sure Hope it could just store as a JSON in one row, so it would be JUST editing.
wont used up so much row.
Apart from consuming the limit on the number of rows, it also consumes the limit on the number of updates etc.
