Can uploaded photos etc be stored to google drive

Investigating using this product, one of our use cases is uploading photos of documents, IDs, etc. Currently it seems this data is uploaded to a mystery Glide container, is it possible to instead have this data be uploaded to our Drive account? Also curious about how we view/manage our Glide storage.

The files are located in Google Storage.

We can’t choose another storage location at the moment.

But, you can use workflow and integration to upload files to a custom external location. But it will also be in the Google storage unless you delete it after upload to external storage. Note that deleted reference of a file in google storage will still work for 30 days after deletion.

If you do want to use an integration to send files in another location, then delete the file from Google storage, note that you won’t be able to view it from Glide app. (Unless you redownload the file from the external storage location. But it would be completely useless at this point).

Thanks for clarification, Maxime.

Certainly the goal would be to use our Drive storage to store the photos if possible. For our use case viewing these specific files in the glide app wouldn’t necessarily be essential. I’ll look into the workflow and integration to see if I can figure that side of it out.
