I would have liked to have had a schedule with empty dates like a real calendar.
But hey, I have the right to dream

Or a calendar in monthly format.

There is also a missing mark on the date or day in the Calendar when there is an Event

Nice!
But I thought we were getting the calendar view as in the event picker? That one’s my favorite!

@eltintero but isn’t it?

My bad, I was just looking at the list view.

It’s a long standing wish from me as well and from everyone I know using it  It must be more difficult than we think

If you use a calendar layout as the main layout (not an inline list), you have the option to switch between regular layout and event picker layout.

Exactly

This is truly a work of art.

I like the new look, but my user complained about not being able the see the event count anymore. She uses the calendar to track daily lessons and the event count gave a quick view of the total number of lessons. I had to revert to a homegrown solution with an inline list in the cards style with grouping and about 5 new columns to achieve a group name that contained a date and a rollup count of lessons for that user for that day. Not complaining since I have a workaround, but the new calendar layout is easier on the eyes. Just wish it had the count, and a way to selectively show it with custom verbiage instead of “Events”.

Also still wish the calendar layout had “Show a few items” as an option. My user probably has about 2000 lessons and that’s a lot to load on screen. I could filter, but then you can’t search items that have been filtered out. “Show a few items” is a nice way to keep the number of on screen items to a minimum while still being allowed to search non-displayed items. At least my cards workaround allows for this.

Great to see the calendar revamp.

Would be helpful to swipe through dates

Also have some kind of indicators to show whether a date contains an entry

Hello,

This is my first time using this layout.
But I noticed, one of my user the start date is 3 Jan and the end date will be 6 Jan,
But the list only capture the start date (on calendar list view) ?
But it captured well on Calendar View.

Well if I’m not wrong the 1st view relies only on the start time to “group” things and does not take the duration into account. Only the 2nd one does.

I understand your point. But to make sense it should take the duration into account right.
