The default date picker in the calendar component would gain from improved and clearer UI.

Earliest what?
Latest what? (“latest” can also have multiple meanings in English, to be used with care.)
It seems earliest and latest refer to Start Time, maybe this could be clarified.
Suggested list:
First (by start time)
Most recent
Today
Upcoming
Last (by start time)

- The user can pick columns that are not date columns, this is confusing.
- Once a column is picked, it’s unclear which date in the column is being consider or what it would do, this is confusing.
