Is there a way to create a timer so that every 5 or 10 min an action is performed instead of using a button?

Not within Glide. This currently can only be done in google scripts inside google sheets.

Here is a forum discussion witthe a script that can help.

I thought about using google sheets but I need to pull the Distance info from the glide table. The distance is not updated in google sheets.

Yeah, I’m sorry. Until they add this feature we will be waiting. I for one have asked for this feature since April of last year.

We call this feature Automations, and we really want to do it but have no specific plans yet.

@david. So we have a stopwatch can we not just add actions to the stopwatch when it ends. and add actions to allow us to start it. Thats all we need. once we have that we can do the rest ourselves. just make the stopwatch accessible via the compound actions.

Or at least allow us to access the values of the stopwatch in compound actions.

We also have no vague plans for Automations.
