Hello,

I run a small agency with a base of 20–30 permanent clients, and we continue to grow our customer base on a weekly and monthly basis. For the past few months, we have been considering transitioning all our clients to Glide, as it meets their needs without requiring custom-coded applications.

However, I have encountered a significant challenge—Glide’s support has been difficult to reach. Despite submitting multiple inquiries via the contact form, particularly regarding enterprise pricing, I have yet to receive a response. This raises concerns about future support: if it is this challenging to get a simple pricing query answered, what would happen if I move my clients to Glide and encounter an issue that requires assistance?

Additionally, I would appreciate insights from other agencies that use Glide. How are you managing client relationships and billing within Glide’s pricing structure?

My Concerns About Glide’s Plans:

Maker Plan:

This plan requires my clients to create their own Glide accounts and invite me as a developer. While this setup works, some clients prefer to pay me a lump sum that covers both my development fees and Glide’s subscription costs. Is there a recommended approach to managing such billing requests efficiently?

Business Plan:

This plan allows me to publish multiple apps under my own account but limits the number of users. After 30 users, additional charges apply per user. Given that client user counts can fluctuate, how can I effectively track and bill them for changes in usage?

Enterprise Plan:

I am looking for clarity on whether Glide offers a simplified enterprise pricing structure. Ideally, I would prefer:

  • Unlimited apps with a discounted per-user rate
  • A fixed pricing model for a set number of users per app
  • Clear guidelines on how billing works for agencies managing multiple clients

Summary:

I am unsure which plan best suits my agency’s needs and how to proceed with my customers. If anyone has experience managing client projects on Glide, I would greatly appreciate your insights.

Thank you in advance for your guidance!

The recommended approach is to use an Agency Plan.

It is not recommended to build client Apps in your own team.
Each client should have their own team, and be billed separately by Glide. If your clients prefer to pay for everything up front, then you could retain ownership of the team, and pass the Glide subscription cost on. Just be aware of overages.

The important thing is that each client should be in a separate team, with their own plan thats best suited for their use case.
