Yes, I also need this integration with AT. I hope Glide will do this soon because it’s great app, but without this is really poor for AT users.
You can create an automation in airtable that when you add a new record it update this record and take the value you need relation and add it on related field in airtable.
This is my recommendation as well
Airtable automation works for me too. But the problem is not to find a “working solution” or a workaround. Using Airtable automation is too slow for my use case. The end-user fills in a form, submits it, and expects the data to be there when the modal is closed. But it takes about a minute or even more before it appears.
So technically, it’s working, but the user experience sucks.
I had mentioned before that lots of nocode tool builders also have this limitation. If Glide can solve this limitation, they will become GOAT in nocode space.
Also in urgend need of the Airtable linked-table feature to be able to write new records!
The Choice
component will work on Airtable links next week.
That’s great news!
@david I think that a fast solution to render multi attachment Airtable fields in Pages is to deliver a carrousel component in Pages.
Multi attachment fields work nice in carrousel Glide Apps Component so a similar solution in Pages would be so nice.
Airtable full integration is coming closer!
REALLY?! This is huge progress!
I’m having the same issues…I can’t associate my tables from Airtable with one another.
deployed right now!
@david and team, thanks for all your efforts here. It’s so great to be able to use airtable on glide.
This may also be in the pipleline already but I’d like to request that the airtable relation could be “written to” using a “screen column” component. It’s not currently an option. This would allow automatic association of a record. If I’m missing something here, please let me know. Thanks!!
Coming very soon! Cheers.
This is golden! Thank you!!!
Hi! Just wondering if this feature that @Jimmy_Driver mentions - the ability to write to a relational field - has arrived? I’m struggling to figure out how to do this.
My use case: I have an ‘order’ table and a ‘tickets’ table in Airtable. We have a linked record field so that tickets can be linked to an order. An order can have multiple tickets.
In Glide I have a simple ‘View order’ screen, which has some basic details from the order, plus a collection component which lists tickets related to that order. This has an ‘Add’ button, but in the overlay form there seems to be no way to automatically link the new ticket being created to the order from the parent screen. Unless I’m missing something…
Thanks!
EDIT: Just noticed this thread, where the same question is being asked, I think, but looks like there isn’t a solution there yet?
It has arrived. You have to go to screen columns and find “this row”. You can use it to write to the relational column.

Thanks so much Jummy!
Hey! Would you mind to elaborate a bit on this one? I think this is the answer to my issue but I’m struggling to find what you refer as the “screen columns”. I have also tried to look for an option to find “this row” but with same results. Thanks a lot!
You can check this.
