Timezone not captured in Date Time component

The Date Time picker captures a ISO 8601 timestamp but the time zone is always set to Z. Example: 2020-04-06T16:00:00.000Z This means the time zone is not captured in the user’s local time and therefore the calendar display is not correct for users in different timezones. Is this a bug or did I miss a setting somewhere?
