Website blocked in China

I received reports that users in China cannot access my Glide app. They claim there must be a firewall. I understand this relates to the initial landing page and is not related to the subsequent step of receiving the login pin.

Does anyone have any experience with access to Glide apps in China? Is there any reason why it is blocked? For example a blanket government ban? I note that I use the url automatically provided by Glide - I have not set up any URL shortcut redirect.

It’s because Glide is tightly integrated with Google, and China blocks just about all of Google. The only way to use Glide in China is via VPN.

I spend a lot of time in China and the only VPN that I’ve found reliably works there, and I can confirm it works with Glide, is Ganan.Net
