Trouble with Docs Automator - Not Printing Certain Fields

Hi There I have been using Docs Automator with great success and enthusiasm but I have struck a problem where certain fields will not display - and I have tried many different things to get them to display.
Perhaps @Rupert is back from holidays and could perhaps clarify if I am missing somehing?

I know this is not the Docs Automator community but I have not been there yet and hoping perhaps someone here can help me clear this very strange up, without to much effort and stress

Glide uses labels and variable names

  1. Screen label (as set for screen display for each field)
2, Actual data field name as used in the Glide tales (I am using Glide tables)
  2. Then there is the field placeholder name on the google docs template

I am now not sure if Docs Automator template placeholders needs to be the Glide table variable name or the screen label?

Can anyone advise me (or show me where is the documentation) for the naming naming convention for placeholder names as used in the google templates?
Are there any rules for valid variable names? (can a variable be made of multiple words that have a single space between them?)
Is there a maximum no of characters for the template placeholder names?
Is there anywhere that can show why a field is not printing out?
I think I have used 50 documents and goodness knows how many updates - probably 150 trying to coax a number of fields which refuse to show up in the PDF.
I have a deadline for my work tomorrow and I would be greatly appreciative of any help

I have solved it - or if not solved it, done what I have needed to to get it working.
Not sure that it fully makes sense yet but I now have it working.
By going to the edit workflow and using the log file (By clicking on the squiggly brackets next to “Generate Document”) , it was possible to see what Docs Automator was receiving from Glide in terms of the names of variables that would be matched against the variable names in the google docs template.
The problem is that what Docs Automator is getting from Glide does not fully align with all of the current variable names in the glide tables???

I simply adjusted the variable names in the template to the filed names that Docs Automator showed it was seeing the variable names in the log file and VOILA - it worked.

Wouldn’t it match with what you configure in the Glide DocsAutomator module?
