Solution Capability and Pricing - Need Guidance

Hi,

I have an ongoing project for a new, online coaching portal.
I’m building the website in Webflow as we speak.
For membership / gated content / CRM features I’ll be integrating with Outseta.

I need to build portal access where:

  1. Individual clients can view their course progress etc.

  2. Coaches can edit / update / delete their course materials. These could be documents, links to videos (which will be hosted on Vimeo) etc.

  3. Corporate client admins can recommend courses available, to their employees, based on various criteria…

Now… I was looking to build and provide the above with Airtable (Interfaces). But security concerns, (anyone is able to see other peoples emails in shared Interface), means that is not realistic.

So… I know there is the “Row Owners” functionality in Glide, but:

Question 1.
I seem to remember from the Glide course videos, that anyone who’s tech savvy, can still see “private” information… Am I remembering correctly? Can anyone allay this concern?

Question 2
Pricing. The client is looking to have ~20 coaches at launch.
I’m genuinely confused and lost as to what the pricing would look like with say 20 coaches;
and if they sign 3 corp. clients, with 1 admin each - so 3 corporate admins.

If I can get some clarity on privacy and pricing, I’m looking to use Glide, as a complete data back end as well… If Glide could handle gated content, without too much complexity, I’d look to remove Outseta from the equation as well…

Thanks in advance for any guidance you can share.

Not if you are using Row Owners to protect data. Unowned rows will not be downloaded to the device, so there is nothing to see. A user will only have access to data that they own.

I would start by looking at the number of included users for each place. Maker sure allow unlimited users but they must user personal email addresses to sign in instead of corporate email addresses. The other plans allow any email domain, but have imposed limits on the number of users. With Business you start with 30 active users per month, but can enable billing for each additional user above that 30 per month. The count resets every month and only counts active users that use the app within a monthly cycle.

Enterprise involves contacting Sales to work out a custom plan for your needs.

Thanks Jeff, really helpful.

I believe gating content behind a paywall is still not possible…?

It can be gated if you set it up that way. It’s probably not a straight forward plug and play setup, but anything is possible. Many have done it.

A real basic overview os probably a back end process that that would sets a user role in each user row if they are current on payments, and use that role as a row owner in all gated tables.
