Slide In Screen - Bouncing Motion Is So Annoying

Grateful for anyone who has a suggestion… I’m using a slide in screen for user action. It has a few containers on the screen that show or hide based on the step for the user. But when the container is hidden and new container is shown the slide in screen does a very fast and ‘annoying’ bounce to show the new size of data. I’ve added a video recording.

How do I limit or remove this motion element? For UX it sucks.

By bouncing motion I mean the slide in jolts up and down when new content shows rather than a slow expansion that’s gentle on the eyes and experience.

Here’s a video recording:

Does this happen with the published app?

Yes it does

Strange. Does this happen if the screen is set to view in “overlay”?

Na because it takes up the entire screen. Only happens in slide in view

This is likely due to the fact that there are components being added to the view when the “Next” button is pressed, causing the Slide-in component to have to adjust its sizing on-the-fly. To prevent this, you’re best to use an “overlay” as opposed to a “slide-in” style for your screen.
