Hi everyone, I’m trying to send emails with gmail but every time I get this message : Send email: ‘From’ must use the format ‘My Name email@host.com ’. I put in exactly the same format but it doesn’t work! Could you please help me ?

Can you share exactly what value you’re using for the From field?

Try using Me me@gmail.com Without any ‘ ‘ or < >

Is there, by any chance, a space ( ) after the final >?

Hi, I am also having this problem. i have tried with < > and without. Still occurs. Any help would be appreciated.

ok fixed. I think the Name has to be exactly as it appears in the gmail Display field.

So any name <your email that you connected> doesn’t work?

I double checked this and no. I am wrong. It’s still working. So in conclusion, I don’t know why it was failing, but it’s working now. any name email@email.com works for me now.

So, name <name@host.com> works…

Some of the time. Looks like Gmail maybe is rate limiting email sending.

But when it fails, it fails silently. So no error on Glide side, the email just doesn’t get sent. Somewhat annoying.
