Promote "URL Encode" from Experimental to a Core Column

Hi Glide Team,

I rely heavily on the experimental “URL Encode” column to create URLs for generating on-the-fly reports (HTML, Excel via JS, etc.). This is a mission-critical feature for my apps.

The problem is that its reliance on an external, third-party service sometimes causes it to be unreliable, especially for users on cellular networks. This can cause critical features to fail in the field.

Could you please prioritize moving the URL Encode functionality into a native, core Glide column that does not depend on an external service? This would significantly improve the reliability of our apps.

Yes! I’ve wanted this too. Not just URL encode, but also base64 encode. The column works great, but it would be nice to have an action that we can use in workflows. Voted!
