One click button can do multiple actions at the same time?

I set this blue button action to set value for a field. But after clicking it, this screen doesn’t go away.

From ONE button click, is there a way to:
-Make this slide in screen go away
-AND show a success message

Change the action to a custom action, and add extra steps to “Show Notification” and “Close Overlay”.
