hello everyone guys, I created a collection of songs and would like to add buttons to switch tracks (previous and next track) how can I implement this?
I think you only use list inline with other music
The basic audio component does not allow for any previous/next at this time. Like
@thienhungf said, you would have to have a list on your screen to go to another song.
@Erlan_Abdishamilov the current audio component is very limiting. I made a Feature Request a few weeks ago to enhance the audio component, but it didn’t get any traction. I hope it’ll make it to a development sprint one day. I have over 4,000 tracks in my app and this would be very helpful.
After using Glide for the past few months, I really only have one thing that I personally would like to enhance: the audio component. I know there are some playback limitations depending on device (iOS/Android), so I’m not even going to go there. Since the audio player stops playing when iPhone locks (around 50% of mobile devices in the USA are iPhone!), and it prevents us, creators to then include audio files or even soundcloud URLs, to create awesome apps for podcasts, radio stations, etc. Wouldn’t it make sense for the Glide team to create their own media player that will work on iPhone as well somehow? Is it possible to do?
