How can I make the map show only locations of the city the user is in? Or maybe let the user choose a city?

use the current location component… or calculate distance… you will have only 10 try in the free app to make this happen… or you can use google sheets with 5 seconds delay …
Yep…have your users enter their address as part of their user profile. Then, in your list of addresses, create a Distance column to calculate the distance from the address to the user profile > address. Then filter out addresses that are outside of your threshold (eg 30 miles?). It does require a pro plan.
