Low Use App (Billing + more)

I’ve built an app for a small, low-budget community gaming LAN event, we’re talking around 40 participants per event, with a max of 100 (thats whats in out Discord, a lot less accualy comes, they dont need their own users). We only host events twice a year, so spending over $200 annually isn’t feasible.

Previously, the Maker plan was out of the question due to the cost over $500 per year or $120 just for the two event weeks. But with the new Explorer plan, I’m reconsidering. Ideally, we’d pay for just two months a year when the events happen.

What concerns me, though, is that the Explorer plan seems to severely limit editing or adding features outside those paid months. Is that actually the case? Are there any other options for teams like ours? The app runs fine on the free plan, but I’m hoping to make it a bit more advanced moving forward. I wish there was an option to edit without publishing or taking it off the web and still being able to edit during the unpaid months!

Any ideas are welcome!

When you say edit, do you mean editing the actual content (which will cost updates), or editing the look of it (frontend)? Editing the frontend won’t cost you money, but you’re limited to what components/actions the Free plan can work with.
