In Settings - Appearance - Navigation, I have selected Position = Left. However, my page is still showing the menu in the top position. I started with a “Blank” template. Am I missing something?

The navigation will always show on top if your screen is too narrow. Are you using a computer with a small screen?
A first generation Surface Pro–however, I created a template about a week ago that I used Left Navigation with no problem. I just checked that Page and Left is still selected but, it has reverted to Top Navigation.
UPDATE: I just checked the published version of the Page from last week and it is still in Left navigation–guess I just have the back-end set too narrow. I’ll play with that.
