Here’s a 4 min video describing my issue:
tl;dr: The Kanban component is a nice one! However, when I hit “Enable inline adding”, I need the ability to set specific fields or store “Values from screen”.
Longer version: I’m creating a simple Kanban application. There are 4 tables: Users, Teams, Projects, Tickets. I’m associating each user with a Team and then using that team as a row owner for all other tables, so that the project data is only visible to members of that team.
Due to these team permissions, when a new ticket is added to a project board, I need to be able to save the current project and the current user’s team in conjunction with that ticket. However, when click “Enable inline adding”, I don’t actually get any options. I can’t select components or fields or grab “Values from screen” (such as the current project & current team).
This would be a great feature! Kind of make-or-break for my use case actually. I’m playing around in Bubble.io and FlutterFlow, but I much prefer the UX and community of Glide so I’m hoping we can encourage this feature enhancement!
