Image editing and annotation functionality (similar to OneNote) + image zoom

It would be extremely useful if Glide allowed users to edit images directly within the app, similar to functionality in apps like OneNote or Skitch. This could include:

  • Freehand drawing or sketching on top of images
  • Adding arrows, text boxes, or highlights
  • Pinch-to-zoom or double-tap to zoom in on images
  • Saving the annotated version within the app as a new or updated image

Use cases:

  • Technical inspections (e.g., windows, installations, damage documentation)
  • Clients providing visual feedback on photos
  • Creative teams annotating design drafts or mood boards
  • Marking up floor plans, product images, or documents

Right now, users have to use external tools to annotate photos, then re-upload the modified images. A built-in solution would significantly improve Glide’s utility, especially for fieldwork, design reviews, and visual collaboration.

I’m also in the process of building a full version using a GAS web app, and it’s still being refined.
