How to use hyperformulas

I’m excited as I just discovered that you can now use excel formulas in glide tables. I am particularly happy about this as I am more familiar with spreadsheet formulas than database structures and coding.

However, I haven’t figured out how to input the formulas…
I’m trying the following for example;
=REGEXEXTRACT(A1,“[[1]]”)
Do I just type it in because I did and assigned the column I want to substitute A1 for but nothing is happening…

It looks like REGEXEXTRACT is not part of Hyperformula: Built-in functions | HyperFormula (v1.3.0)

It looks like REGEXEXTRACT is Google Docs only, and not part of Excel–maybe that’s why it’s not in Hyperformula. We should contribute it!

The Extract Matching Text column should do what you want.
