I’m trying to build an app for use in my home watch business and looking for any tips to get me started. I am not a tech guy but ready to try this out. Any advice offered would be very appreciated. I do have a few spreadsheets that was created in ChatGPT but I just can’t get the app to be setup for what I’m looking for.

A few ideas to get you started:
- If you don’t want to build your app yourself and have budget to outsource, Glide has a directory of Glide experts who sell their expertise: Glide Experts Directory
- Try building it yourself in Glide by starting a project, either using the AI assistant or by uploading your spreadsheet or by starting from scratch. Clicking around and just trying to do anything might be the best way to learn. If you’re not interested in learning and the whole process is already too complicated for you, then you might be better off hiring external help (see point above).
- If you need further help in your learning journey: Glide Docs for the platform’s documentation, Glide University for tutorials and lessons, YouTube for more tutorials, Glide community forum for questions.
- A word about AI tools: they will be helpful in many ways and also lead you astray in others. When you don’t know the topic at all, it’s difficult to distinguish the AI’s helpful assistance from the same AI’s very confident-sounding mistakes.
