Grouping Kanban by Deal Stage

Afternoon All - I wondered if you might be able to help please?

I am looking to re-order the glide kanban view (Grouped by: Stage) so that I can use it to quickly visualise the stage for each deal in numerical order (as per our ‘Stage’ column format below) but cannot see to be able to get this numerically ordered for example:

  1. New Lead > 1. Initial Contact/Lead > 2. Follow Up Contact > 3. Proposal Sent > 4. Invoice Sent
We also have another column called ‘Blocked’ which doesn’t have a number either.

Please see screenshots below for reference - you can see they are not in numerical order as I would require.

Any ideas please?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried creating custom groups?

Yes, and even tried using IF THEN ELSE to see if this would work, but not luck!

What happened when you tried it? I see in your screenshot, you are not using them.

I have re-instated it so you can see what it does, unfortunately it doesn’t put it in numerical order either - unless you have any ideas?

I still don’t see anything here.

When I add this field ( ‘stage’)in the custom groups section all stages go into one list rather than separate lists.

You need to create a group for each stage, in the order that you want. Just fill the Value box with the name of the stage for each group.

Just to add to this the first custom group by default is ‘uncategorized’ and blank to catch the empty ones
