Hey folks, so it’s still a work in progress but happy to announce the early launch of frend.social , a different approach to promoting safe social media for young children.

Some of the differentiating features when compared to the larger platforms :

• Parental Control: Parents manage their child’s account.
• Public Content Only: No private messaging.
• AI Moderation: Advanced AI filters inappropriate content.
• Ad-Free Experience: No advertisements.
• Privacy Protection: No personal information collected.

Friendly reminder that Glide’s terms of service exclude anyone under the age of 13 from using the platform. Individuals between the ages of 13 and 18 can use the platform with the consent/approval of a parent or guardian. :slight_smile:

Sure thing. It’s the parents who sign up for and control the accounts with their own emails and information.

Hey! :waving_hand: I love the idea behind frend.social, it sounds like a perfect way to help kids safely interact online. I’d really like my child to join the app when it’s ready! How do I let them join the app?
