Filter/Remove multiple entries from Table Component

Hello Community,

I am having a number of issues with a Glide App/Portal that is displaying multiple entries (for the same users) in a front end Table Component.

The Background

The Table displays Training Status from a Training Status Data Table (Glide). Date range is divided into Quarters for each year (IE Q1 2025, Q2 2025, Q3 2025, Q4 2025, Q1 2024, Q2 2024 and so on). Every time a user completes training and adds it to a Training Register (separate Glide Data Table) a new Training Status is created in the Training Status Data Table.

There are filters within the table (front end) that enable Display/Show Q4 2025 & Status (Complete/Incomplete).

Unfortunately due to the way the Glide Data Tables have been created (by a paid Third Party Glide Expert who is no longer providing support/assistance) a user can have multiple entries in the Training Status Data Table. (The Training Register calculates the number of training hours completed by the user and ranks it as complete or incomplete based on whether the hours recorded meet the minimum required hours.)

What I need to be able to do is display the last/most recent Training Status entry for each user for every quarter…

I have attempted to create an additional Query Column in the Training Status Data Table filtering Users ID and Period ID… but the table continues to display multiple entries for users who have recorded more than 1 entry within the given period.

Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated

If you’re prepared to give me temporary builder access to your App, I don’t mind taking a look.

Thanks Darren. I will create a duplicate of the App and provided you access as the live version is currently being accessed by users. Can you please outline how you would like me to set up temporary builder access please ?

Send me a PM with your Team Invite (get that from the members area of your dashboard), then direct me at the duplicate App, and let me know which screen has the problem (and an example of the duplicate).

Hi Darren, PM’d you. Thank you

Has this been resolved? Can we help more?

Yeah, sorted.
