CSS for inline list display?

I’ve seen some people use CSS in the rich text component, but I was wondering if CSS is possible in an inline list? Here’s what I have:

I’d like the circled part to be a different font style if possible. Right now that whole line is in a template column. Is this possible? And what would be even better is if it was one color for positive values and another for negative values. But I might be stretching it there

Any attempts for having a different font style for just a part of a string would only be possible with lettering.js, as far as I aware, since CSS does not support that. I think as of now they only have first-letter and last-letter.
