Count from a Cell

Hello everyone! I have a problem that I don’t know how to solve and I need your help.

I have a list (checkbox) from which the user must select some items. My problem is that I need to count the number of those items, and I can’t find a way to be able to count the number of items selected from the cell.

I am using checkbox and not checklist because I need to limit the selection of items and in a checklist I think that is not possible.

I assume it’s a multiple choice component that writes a comma-delimited list of choices?

One way to do it is using Split Text to split it into an array, then Array Length to get the count you want.

Another way is using JavaScript.

return p1.split(",").length

With p1 being your “cell”.
