I used to enjoy the great feature of editing per column that came with the release of the New Table component. However, it seems that now this ability is no longer available. It’s really unfortunate. Is this temporary or will it be permanent?
Not sure. They have said that inline editing has been quite complex. I think they may enhance the Data Grid for inline editing purposes.
Previously they had achieved it. It’s a very compact CRUD model. I think the Data Grid can even be replaced with this new table.
Yes it was previously available, but it’s also very rough and not finished being developed. I assume they ran into some roadblocks as they have continued to develop it, and it was much easier to remove the inline editing which was adding a lot of complexity.
Yeah, let them decide what’s best. But honestly, this is the best feature.
Another thing is, don’t make too many reductions/changes, it won’t be good.
