ok. Should I do this along with the other filters I already set or revert the others to normal?
At the moment, I have a filter on the home screen to “on or after today”.
This would be separate to what you already have on your home screen.
ok. One other thing… there was another container below what you saw in the screenshot that was for an item that only displayed on certain conditions. I don’t think i’ll be able to put it in the main container like you instructed. It’s usually invisible so I think it probably won’t hurt the scenario.
Yes, you can’t have containers inside containers.
What you could do with that one is extend the current visibility condition to also check the event date.

Ok. I did it. Thanks again… by tonight I will be able to see if I did it correctly. 
You could always temporarily change the date of one of your current events to yesterday, and see immediately if it works

Actually, you can test something without the user seeing it by setting visibility specifically for you to see, no need to follow the same time or event as your user.
