Calendar filter-date vs. time

Good morning, Gliders,

I need help filtering a calendar list of events. All my events have the properly formatted date and time in start and end columns. I want users to be able to see all events on a particular date regardless of start time–for example all events on August 21. I have a dozen events on that date that have start times ranging from 8AM to 3PM. I do not want to include a time in the filter field, but it appears to default to 12:00:00AM. The result is that no events appear when filtered on August 21 because of the various start times.

I attempted to format the filter field to date only without a time, but in its computer brain, it still defaults to 12:00:00AM.

Has anyone had success resolving this?

How is your filter set up. Do you have a screenshot? Checking for ‘within’ should check the date without time.

I would like to use the date picker for setting the filter. Can I control how that works? Or are you suggesting that I build a filter using “within?”
