Built a fully functioning ad marketplace from a hotel room in the middle of no where… no code, no money, no dev team, just necessity, Channelled Pain and will power!
I didn’t build this app because I had funding or free time. I built it because I had nothing else no team, no cash, and no clear way forward. I was sitting in a small hotel room, broke, trying to figure out how to make something that could survive even if I couldn’t.
What came out of that space was more than just an app. It’s a fully functioning mobile ad marketplace an ecosystem built with Glide that lets users post ads, boost them, receive payments, chat in real-time, and track results. Businesses can promote their services, and admins can control every aspect from a clean backend. It works. And I built it while everything else in my life wasn’t.
Some of what it includes:
Credit-based ad posting system
Ad boosting functionality for higher reach
Mobile Money and PayPal support
Live messaging between users
Full admin dashboard with ad moderation and revenue tracking
Review and rating system
Notifications tab for updates and messages
Real-time campaign tracking
Everything is permission-controlled, clean, and simple. I built it to be sellable. Usable. Useful. Not just for me, but for someone else who might need it.
I’ll be submitting it to the Glide Template Store soon. In the meantime, here’s the demo:
Live app:
If you’re someone trying to build without resources, without support, without even peace of mind this is proof that something meaningful can still come out of it. This is what I made from nothing. I’d love to know what you think.
I was touched by your post but truly disappointed when the link didn’t work. But it sounds like an amazing app and well done bro! Wish u the best of luck
I’m sorry; I’m on the Explorer plan atm, which only lets me put one app live at a time and I happen to just be experimenting with something else. However I’ve put it back up live here is the link sorry for the inconvenience. I seem unable to edit my last post so i’m unable to correct the link. Please have a look and while I appreciate compliments. I also love criticism; I aim to be better and i am unable to do that without constructive criticism.
Impressive work my friend! I would recommend getting rid of the whole page as a customer service and using this method on whatever page u want, https://youtu.be/Dr1pCuL2Mg0?si=4B2HEG_9DtEpJfFF
Secondly, the user profile page needs some work, you can make it into different tabs: 1 for information, another for current campaigns, another for payment info and credits, and one for the history of campaigns. Well done, mate, and looking forward to seeing the updates!

Mazen
I’ve just made you an admin there should be more tabs now look at the admin features on the admin tabs. Interested to know your thoughts on those aswell. when you click the side menu, there should be tabs with (Admin) written next to them.
