AI data not visible/managable for UI and computed columns

Hey there,

Description

I´ve noticed that, if you add data into a table out of an AI action from a workflow. The computed columns as well as the whole UI are not seeing this data

For example:

If I use a “Document to Text” action to extract the data into a “PDF output” column. And then use again AI “Text to Texts” to extract a paricular data “Short or Color” (see video) out of the “PDF output”. The data is not visible in App filters.

In other application, I have the same issue also for computed columns as well as in the whole UI.
And also if it is only one AI action (not two as in the example)

How to replicate

  • See video within this post
  • In the video I have the example with an in App filter.
  • In general, it won´t not see the data in the whole UI

Would be greate if anyone can helpt me with this issue.

“Text to Texts” is a special column as in it generates an “array” of data, which is not visible to many types of components.

I would suggest either trying to use a template to lock that in (if it even comes up as an option), or use “Generate Text” instead of “Text to Texts”.
