Hello! I would love to be able to have an option like with image blocks to set a card click action as “open on click” and then have the image display bigger with a dimmed background like this. I can’t currently see anything similar aside from opening a new screen, adding the image again & then it has an ugly white background.
I have a main collection with pieces of clothing in it. When clicked it opens a detail page with more information and a section where I have an additional collection for additional photos of the item. I have a static image block above this that opens on click, but I don’t believe images in collections can have that same click action.\
Totally hear you, and that kind of interaction does sound nice visually—but it wouldn’t be great UX in this case. Most people simply expect clicking the image to take them to the item’s detail page, so changing that behavior could be super confusing until they realize they need to click somewhere else. It’d break the flow a bit.
You can consider making the collection’s “Item Click” action use a “Show new Screen > this item” action that opens a new screen that is configured to only show the Image.
Next, you can add a Collection Item Action — a button to each card to “View details” — this would use the Show Details Screen" action.

Good idea! Wouldn’t be the best UX though (like I just said) — but they do what they wanna do I guess
