It’d be cool if there was an “edit” action like the pencil on the top right…
Have always wanted an “edit” action and a “delete” action for the buttons.
It would be easy for glide, right @david? Would be a super cool feature
There is another rare bug when you use more than 1 floating button on same screen using Safari.
Instead of having something like this
on my iPhone I see this funny icon!!.. the last icon/button takes the size belonging to other three ones
If you see the APP on Windows vía Chrome or Glide Editor everything looks fine but on Safari (iPhone 6 Plus), this bug appears.
Saludos y feliz día!
Fix will roll out Tuesday
Thanks @Jason. Loving this functionality, already converted a number of buttons to float and it has transformed the user experience
I actually like that.
@Robert_Petitto what does the edit pencil do?
Can you take over the edit pencil on an item?
No, it opens a “write new post” (show form action)
Possible to do visibility logic on the floating buttons - quite nice I think.
It could be nice if it was possible to adjust the colors of the buttons - like it is done on tripadvisor
@Mark wouldn’t that be a nice thing
Didn’t even think to do this…SUCH a good idea!
@Krivo nice example, thanks
That’s impressive idea
I’m using the button for something super-simple - my app is a combo product catalog and business card (on steroids, thank you Glide) - so I just made a floating “call me” button - click and you can instantly connect. At least with my Google Voice number This is a great addition to my app! Also, I added a large empty divider at the bottom of my app so someone can scroll completely past the button to view all text.
@kabookie it looks fab, great idea.
Can we use the floating button now, or is it still in staging?
It’s here. Basically a new button style.
Is available now
Looks like this
Looking forward to using multiple buttons on the iPhone once it is fixed. Will be checking through out today for update.
