Hide "Comments are restricted"

We want to send updates to a selected group of users.

We thought of using the chat feature and using comments style for this.

We dont want everybody to be able to add comments, just our team.

But when a person that is not part of the team views the updates tab, they see the comments and “comments are restricted”.

Is it possible to hide the “comments are restricted” part and simply display the comments? It works with the Chat style where the input field is hidden, but not comments.

We think the comments style looks better for regular updates, since only 1 user will show up and be posted on there, so it’s always the same username, profile picture and so on.

What you could do is add a different collection style for displaying comments in read only mode, and then use visibility conditions to show one or the other based on signed in user.
