Did Glide come out with an AI powered new App builder (for new customers only I think?)

Is their an AI powered app builder within Glide?

Wanted to try it out but I don’t see anything from my dashboard/”New app”.

TIA

Yes they did. Try creating a new team. It’s still largely in beta I believe.

Is there an example on-line or Youtube on the features/capability of Glide AI builder when starting an app from scratch?

BTW..Glide says I am “Legacy Free” in the new folder (but am Business in my other development folder). I don’t see any difference when creating a New app in my regular folder versus the new folder (I guess I was expecting a Claude/Gemini/ChatGPL like interface where I describe my app).

I am trying to see what the AI builder offers relative to a ‘standard build-new-with-Glide’ that we use.

My youtube search….>50% of the results over 1 year old and another 25% over 6 months.

I’m pretty sure I had gotten to the AI Agent at one point, but I’m not sure how anymore. Personally, I don’t think it was that great compared to getting into the guts like most of us do. The intention was for new users though, especially while it’s in beta so noone mucks up their existing apps I suppose. There are a small handful of recent posts in the form regarding the AI Agent.

Agent | Glide Docs

Oh yeah (RTFM Jeff). Create a new app in the new team and click on the Agent tab at the top of the builder.

Thanks Jeff - that is what I was looking for.

Never occurred to check Glide documentation since, well, it is Glide documentation.

This didn’t take long to get to “Upgrade to keep chatting”

5 questions including “How should I describe what I need” and “Can you build with Glide tables and Glide Big tables”

Interesting that this screen doesn’t say how many AI questions/tokens/interactions I get within each plan (are they unlimited?)

Guess Glide considered my questions multi-part

Thanks as always and I will wait until existing customers are supported.

Before you dive more into it, the agent apparently defaults to creating tables in Big Tables. People have reported that.
