Creating a Template, Visibility Question

I’m creating a template; with the goal to post it on the App Marketplace of Glide.

One of the rules is that states which is not allowed:

  • Contain visibility conditions: To make it easier for users to discover the features and components of your template, we suggest you avoid using conditional visibility, particularly on entire screens.

Is this rule enforced 100%? Even if it is just to create “tabs” for an app? To actually make it a lot more visually usefull for the users? So we don’t overwhelm them with data on a single screen?

I’m not sure how much it’s enforced or more of a suggestion, but I would be sure to include hint components or documentation within the template explaining some of these features controlled by visibility. I think the thought is that someone might use your template to build their app, and may not completely realize there are parts hidden from view. It’s more about transparency to the user that uses your template, so they understand how everything works when they start to modify it.

While I think you can still submit the template your screenshots would not contain any data that uses visibility conditions.
