Count items in collection that are displayed

I use tons of collections to display and filter items by many complex criteria.

It could be useful if there was an easy way to display (in collection title) number of items displayed.

The only way I found doing it is by creating a separate count/query columns…

Why there is no count in collection itself?

That’s the way it has always been for collections, and you don’t have access to the in-app filter values as well, so you can’t really count them dynamically.

The only way to achieve this is creating your own filter system using user-specific columns and query/rollup.
