I’m looking for assistance with a personal app that I’m making. The trouble that I’m running into is that the inventory items in the page listed “Vault” would have a duplicate if an entry is added through the journal that has the same brand and name. All of the data is user-specific.
I would like to make it so that when entering a new journal entry, the brand/name/vitola have the option to select pre-existing options, ie brand, and then “name” that is related to brand, etc and subtract one from the stock in vault if it already exists, otherwise the option to input new brand/name.
It is not an issue if there appear multiples of the same item under the “Journal” tab.
