Hi,
It would be nice if we could control styles of the custom collection similar to how can with standard collections:
- Styles
- Background
- Width
- Padding
- Orientation (Vertical - Horizontal)
etc.

1000%. Never understood why we can’t have all of the same background options like containers, or the ability to have grouping. Custom Collections are powerful for custom layouts, but also limited compared to other collection and container styles. So much of Glide feels like white on white sometimes, so I like to introduce background colors to offset that and provide contrast to better focus my eyes on the content. In cases where I am forced to use a custom collection to display all of the information I need, it kind of breaks the overall design of my app and I lose the ability to have grouping as well. Those are my big issues with custom collections.
