gee, where to start…

• I use CSS a lot for tables. Here is a recent example that I posted (includes a short video and the CSS/HTML used):

Sure! One thing that isn’t obvious from the screen shot is that two of those tables are collapsable: That’s done in the usual way, using HTML <details><summary> tags. Although getting it to play nicely with the tables was a bit fiddly. Anyway… I used HTML Table Styler ▦ CSS Generator | 𝗗𝗜𝗩𝗧𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘.𝗖𝗢𝗠 to come up with the basic table structure and CSS, and then butchered the CSS until I got it looking how I wanted. My CSS-fu is not very strong, so I suspect there is a lot of bloat the…

• I also use CSS a lot for hiding stuff and controlling user flow. Hiding the back “button”, etc

• I’ve also used CSS for generating a customised calendar view for displaying a shift roster (thanks to some awesome help from @Jeff_Hager)

Generating & displaying a monthly shift roster

Here we go… Some of the styling is still a bit wonky, but that’s easy fixed. I only have the roster for a single month right now, so I actually created two tmp-Calendar columns, then used and ITE to check the status of the relation to the roster sheet. If it’s empty, show a blank calendar, otherwise show the selected workers calendar. This is what my new roster sheet looks like… [Screen Shot 2021-01-27 at 1.03.41 AM]
