I’ve split this into a separate topic. Why can’t you just add more rows than you are likely to need? There is no reason why you can’t add 1000 rows (or more) to a helper table.

Yes. The idea is to have a fixed number of rows in your helper table, and you use the same rows over and over again as a staging area for adding rows to some other table.
