Make isn’t perfect but it’s pretty reliable. That topic is discussing using make with Glide tables whereas it looks like you would be using Make+Excel.
The only times Make has failed me is during periods of scheduled maintenance… which Make lets you know about ahead of time.
If I decide to use it via Make, it would have to be Make + Glide too, because if I decide to Edit directly in the excel sheet, through Make, the glide will take time to recognize this spreadsheet edition, at least that’s what happens when I decide to edit something directly there, there is always an annoying delay until it replicates on my glide.
Anyway, I think it would be much better to have a row without an ID than to have several, as is happening after losing the table formatting. now I just need to learn how to do this via webhook, using Make. An explanatory video would be most welcome.
You can use the Glide API to do so and reduce the delay time, as far as I aware. At least it’s what happens with Google Sheets.
