# Write to Related Table Column from Workflow Add Row

When you are using a Workflow to Add a Row, there is the “Write row ID to” drop down, but if you are doing it form a View and not a writable table you cannot select a related row.

This functionality would be similar to what already exists on the Show Detail Screen Data field:
