# "Write Row ID To" is not printing to the fields!

Im using the “write Row ID To” feature in a workflow after adding a row to a different table. This is needed in order to allow a relation to work, and then begin a cascade of other processes.

As of today, it doesnt seem to be working? Can anyone shed some light on this?

If you are trying yo write it to the user profile I don’t think that works.

Hey guys,

Found a solution with the help of support. “ADD ROW” will not happen in an “app interaction” workflow unless there is a field to be printed to the new row.

Only then will the row be added, so only then will the row ID get written to the field in the first table.
