# Workflow challenges - emails and CSVs and the 1000 row limit

I’m struggling to find info on the new workflow tools. Here’s some things I want to do:

1. Create and save (via a new row if possible) a CSV file every period.
2. Check a table of more than 1000 rows for conditions (i.e. column / cell is true) and send email of those true rows.

I think the new Glide workflows can do this without external solutions but I can’t work it out.

The action is called generate CSV.

Use the inline loop and condition.

Thanks for replies. I know ‘generate csv’ but struggling to prompt it based on time trigger rather than button. Could map to a regularly used button and trigger if date x but feels botched.

The 1000 row limit is my concern - I understand loop has a 1000 row limit but can’t see if this means it will only check 1000 rows or if it means it can only action 1000 rows. i.e. let’s say 100 rows will action but from a sample of 5000 rows, will it check all 5000 or only the most recent 1000?
